A Sponsor may be any professional person, business proprietor or owner, partner, director or senior executive - in fact any suitably empowered person - who is authorised to:

Role & Responsibilities

Only a sponsor may register an ethical brand. He or she is provided with a login account with which to manage its ethical brand Profile as well as the configuration and maintenance of the Service Plan.

By registering a named entity as an ethical brand this person assumes the role and accepts the responsibilities of a Sponsor, which include:

  • supporting, advocating and championing the ethical brand concept throughout the enterprise;
  • leading the establishment, or instantiation of an authentic ethical brand on behalf of and in the name of the registered enterprise;
  • ensuring that all personnel are broadly committed to a high standard of professional conduct that is consistent with those suggested and implied by the terms ethical brand and 'doing the right thing';
  • ensuring that the registered enterprise is compliant with the Terms of Use (published by Ethical Brand (International) on its website at http://www.ethicalbrand.com.au/home/terms).
